SAL1 homologues AlphaFold2 structural models and electrostatic models
SAL1 is a drought sensing enzyme. These are protein structural models and APBS electrostatic maps across a pH range of 7.0-8.2. There are over 500 structures from representative plant sequences derived from the 1000 Plant Transcriptome Initiative TBlastN. Sequences were selected by phylogenetic reconstruction. Sequences were processed, including removal of transit peptides, using custom code and manual curation. Structures were predicted using AlphaFold2 implementation of Colabfold. Electrostatic maps were calculated using APBS.
