Courtney is the Satellite Systems Engineer for CSIRO’s Earth observation programs, with a focus on the AquaWatch Australia Mission. Courtney holds a PhD in spacecraft propulsion (UNSW) and an undergraduate first-class honours degree in mechanical engineering (Victoria University). She has several years’ experience in satellite operations and pre-launch testing, having led the flight operations of the Buccaneer Risk Mitigation Mission (BRMM), M2 Pathfinder, and M2 missions at UNSW Canberra.
