Dr Mary Anne Kennan is is Associate Professor and Associate Head of School, School of Information Studies, Charles Sturt University. Mary Anne has a PhD from the University of New South Wales in scholarly communication and researches and publishes in the areas of scholarly communication, changing academic library services (including research data management), and education for library and information managers. Prior to becoming an academic Mary Anne worked mainly in academic libraries, the most recent as Director of the Frank Lowy Library at the Australian Graduate School of Management. Mary Anne is Editor of the Journal of the Australian Library and Information Association (JALIA), the flagship journal of the Australian Library and Information Association which publishes peer reviewed research and research-in-practice papers.
