Brief Description
In 1991 the Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works absorbed the Emerald District Water Board, Dandenong-Springvale Water Board, Dandenong Valley and Westernport Authority, Lang Lang Water Board, Mornington Peninsula and District Water Board and Pakenham Water Board, its change of name to Melbourne Water Corporation to take place in 1992. Works by these bodies are found under the name in use at the time of publication.
