Desert Ecology Plot Network data packages, 1990-2018
This Desert Ecology Plot Network Research Group aims to track long-term shifts in biodiversity in desert mammal and herpetofauna assemblages. The Plot Network has also collected data on vegetation (floristics and structure) and weather data. The study focusses on key drivers, which are intrinsic to both the resource-pulse dynamics and due to human disturbance, including unpredictable rainfall and droughts, fire, feral predators and grazing.

Brief Description
The Desert Ecology Plot Network aims to quantify inter-relationships between the frequency and intensity of increased climate extremes and their effect on the species dynamics. The plot network is also conducting research on how complex predator-prey interactions regulate vertebrate diversity in arid Australia.
